Free & Reduced Lunch Application Information
2023-2024 Pennsylvania Free and Reduced Priced Meal Benefits
Children need healthy meals to learn. Leechburg Area School District offers healthy meals every school day. Breakfast costs $1.50; lunch costs $2.85. Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced price meals. Reduced price is $0.30 for breakfast and $0.40 for lunch. 2023-24 Complete Household Letter and application instructions are below.
- If you have received a Notice of Direct Certification letter for free meals for the 2023-2024 school year, you do not need to complete an application this year. Please let the school know if any children in your household are not listed on the letter you received.
· Applications are to be completed online through your School Cafe account at https://www.schoolcafe.com. To set up an account, please see the flyer below. You can also complete an online application through COMPASS website at www.compass.state.pa.us.
If preferred, paper applications are available in the High School or Elementary Office, requested from the cafeteria, or can be printed using the links below.
· Paper applications can be mailed to: Leechburg Area School District, Attention: Food Service Department, 210 Penn Avenue, Leechburg, PA 15656 or can be turned into the High School or Elementary Office. Applications may be submitted any time throughout the school year.
